After being introduced by his assistant Michael Muhammad, Amir Fatir began the service with a prayer to Ra and the Neteru for the protection of the men being held in Delaware's super max and the women being held in the Baylor Women's Prison. He said he planned to ask Fitrah priests and priestesses to find time to minister to the women who are too often forgotten when they go to prison, often times because of their loyalty to a man.
In honor of new Yoruba Fitrah participants Hemit-Ur Fatir wrote the Paut Neteru/Tree of Life on the blackboard using the Yoruba names such as Obtatala (Ausar) and Shango (Heru). He then taught that the orishas are within you and you have to evoke them, i.e., voice them out for them to manifest their power to improve our lives.
The goal of spiritual activity is to become a God man and woman in this life and that one person not only achieved that but also left clues on how each of us can do the same
-- Master Fard Muhammad.
Fatir cautions against "updating" the lessons by doing things like changing the population numbers. 17,000,000 and 19,000,000 are sacred numbers and when you change numbers to reflect your notion of what they should be you throw out an essential vibratory frequency you need to become a true and living God.
He broke down the biblical verse that says in the beginning was the word. The word is the heka, the mantra, the dhikr. AUUUMMMMM! That vibration is not only with the neter Ausar, it IS the neter and by chanting Aum you become who you really are, Ausar.
Fatir also debunked the books that say he beat up Malcolm X in 1963. "I was 10 years old in 1963. If I'd driven my bicycle to Philadelphia to beat up Malcolm then my mother would've beat me up when I got back home cuz she loved Malcolm. Don't believe the hype".
